BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a sophomore in 2013-14, Marissa competed in her second season of basketball and earned her first varsity letter. Marissa also competed in her second season of track and field.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-13, Marissa played her first season of basketball.  She played in six games for the 16-9 Yellow Jackets, tallied six points and four rebounds, and canned 3 of her nine field goal attempts.

As a sophmore in 2013-14, Marissa played in her second season of basketball and earned her first varsity letter. She appeared in 11 games  and scored 11 points while shooting 5-7 from the field on the season. The Yellow Jackets finished with a 22-7 overall record.

  • Two rebounds at Marietta on Jan. 5, 2013

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Marissa grew up in Parma Heights, Ohio and graduated from Parma Normandy High School. She played four years of basketball and earned four varsity letters. She also ran four years of track and earned four letters.

In basketball, Marissa was the Normandy H.S. Most Valuable Player, a first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference selection and the NOL Player of the Year.

In track, Marissa was the Normandy MVP, All-NOL in four events, including winning NOL titles in the high and long jumps.
