SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Kaity competed in her second season of softball and earned her second varsity letter.   

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW: As a sophomore in 2011-12, Kaity was named as an honorable mention Academic All-OAC student-athlete and at the 2011-12 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the softball team (3.76). Kaity also was named a Jacket Scholar.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Kaity has had a solid softball career thus far. B-W has recorded 46-31 record during her first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Kaity is hitting .323 (70-of-217) with 38 runs scored, 11 doubles, 45 RBI, and seven home runs.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Kaity played in her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter. She started all 39 games at third base and batted .353 (41-for-116) with 20 runs scored, six doubles, four homeruns, 26 runs batted-in and one stolen base. She helped the Yellow Jackets to a school-record-tying 28 victories, a 28-11 record, an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Division III Central Region Tournament.

?As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Kaity played in her second season of softball and earned her second letter. She started all 38 games at first base (moved from 3B to 1B in the offseason), had a .287 batting average (29-for-101) with five doubles, three homers, 19 RBI and a steal. The Yellow Jackets finished 18-20 overall.

: In softball, Kaity was a member of the All-Southwestern Conference team from 2008-2010, a member of the all-district team from 2008-2009, all county from 2008-2009, and honorable mention All-Ohio in 2009.  She was also the captain of the volleyball team in 2010 and the Most Valuable Player for basketball in 2009.  Kaity was a four year honor roll student and she graduated with a community service award. Kaity recorded five home runs, held a .492 batting average, a .625 slgging percentage and two errors.
