SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Kate competed in her second season of softball and earned her second varsity letter.
GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Kate has had a solid softball career thus far. B-W has recorded 46-31 record during her first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Kate is hitting .105 (2-of-19) with 12 runs scored and one RBI.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Kate played in her first season of softball appearing in 18 games and starting one. Kate recorded nine at-bats getting two hits, posting a .222 batting average (2 hits on 9 at-bats). She drove in one run and and stole two bases in three attempts. She posted an .800 fielding percentage with three put outs, one assist and one error.
As a sophomore in 2011-12, Kate played in her second year of softball appearing in 27 games, starting six of them. Kate recorded six hits. In the field, she had a fielding percentage of .857, with six put outs and one error.
