SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2012, Ashley competed in her second season of softball and earned her second varsity letter.   

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW: Ashley is a Dean's List student.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Ashley has had a solid softball career thus far. B-W has recorded 46-31 record during her first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Ashley is hitting .361 (74-of-205) with 44 runs scored, 14 doubles, 35 RBI, two triples, and seven home runs.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Ashley played in her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter as the starting leftfielder.  She started all 39 games and was named second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and to the 2011 OAC All-Tournament team. She helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to the OAC Tournament title, a school-record 28 victories with a 28-11 overall record and into the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the first time since 1992.  Ashley led the team in batting average at .425 (54-for-127) with a team-leading 10 doubles, one triple and team-leading seven home runs. She also led the team in base hits (54), runs scored (35), slugging average (.685) and on-base average (.468).

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Ashley played in her second season of softball appearing in 31 games, of which 29 she started.  Ashley has a batting average of .256 (20 hits on 78 at-bats), and drove in nine runs.  Ashley recorded 20 hits, 4 doubles, and one triple.  In the field, Ashley had 30 put outs, one assist and just two errors resulting in a .939 fielding percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): While at Edison H.S., Ashley played basketball and softball for four years each, two seasons of volleyball and one season of tennis and earned a total of 9 varsity letters. She lettered four times each in basketball and softball, and once in tennis.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In softball, Ashley was an All-Sandusky Bay Conference and All-District selection, the Edison H.S. Most Valuable Player and a team captain for two years and had the highest batting average on the team. In basketball, she was an All-SBC player and led the team in assists for three years and served as a team captain. In tennis, shley was tabbed as the Most Improved Player in her only season of action.
