Men’s Golf Team Places Seventh at OAC Fall Invitational

HARROD, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished seventh at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Invitational at the Colonial Players Club hosted by Ohio Northern University. The tournament was shortened to a one-day and 18-hole event due to inclement weather during the first round. This also was the final of six fall tournaments for the Yellow Jackets.

BW placed seventh of eight teams with a round of 319 on the par-72 and 6,886-yard Colonial Players Club layout. Otterbein University was the team champion with 308 strokes. A total of 12 strokes separated first from seventh place.

Freshman Drew Savage (Canal Fulton/ Northwest) led the way as he fired a round of 78 to tie for 11th individually. He was followed by freshman Logan Dwelle (Sandusky/ Perkins) with a 79 to tie for 15th, junior All-OAC player Scott Schroeder (Aurora) with an 80 to tie for 23rd,  junior All-OAC player Matt Kerschner (Independence) with an 82 to tie for 31st and freshman Jason Garnet (North Royalton) with an 86 to tie for 46th.

The spring season will resume in early March with the spring trip.
