BW Finishes Runner-Up at Ted Barclay Classic in Granville; Nick Bryan Earns Medalist Honors

BEREA, OHIO: The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team shot a spring season-best 299 to place second on the final day (Sunday, April 11) of the 2010 Denison University Ted Barclay Classic at Granville Golf Course in Granville, Ohio. Senior Nick Bryan (Zanesville/Rosecrans) fired a one-over par 72 and won medalist honors for the tournament.

Bryan's 72 gave him a two-day total of 146 on the par-71 and 6,559-yard course.

Also on day two, senior Mike Falk (Strongsville) shot 74 and junior Matt Weiss (Concord/Mentor) shot 76. Sophomore Ricky Jaskolski (North Royalton/Parma Padua Franciscan) and freshman Stephen Spalding (Stow/Walsh Jesuit) rounded out the scoring with identical scores of 77.

Competing as individuals, junior Cory Swaisgood (Fremont/St. Joseph's Central Catholic) shot 83 and sophomore Kyle Lewis (Riverside, Calif./Riverside Poly) shot 85.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio next Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18.
