Luke Bowling enters his third season as the defensive backs coach at Baldwin Wallace Universoty in 2024.
Bowling, who served as the athletics department equipment manager last year, came to BW after serving as an English teacher and baseball, football and strength and conditioning coach in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools located in Annapolis, Maryland. He taught four years at South River High School and two years at Crofton Middle School. In addition, Bowling served as an assistant baseball coach at the Crofton High School and was the assistant football coach at South River where he was the offensive coordinator, special teams coordinator and a wide receivers coach. Bowling also was the strength and condition coach at South River for football and lacrosse.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wittenberg University. While at Wittenberg, Bowling played three years of football and appeared in 24 varsity games. He caught 82 passes for 863 yards with six touchdowns.
