TIFFIN, Ohio. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival amongst other NCAA division one, two, and three schools in Hoernemann Stadium inside the Paradiso Athletic Complex. 

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference hurdler ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.83 seconds
• Senior Nick Dascani (Toledo/ Springfield) placed eighth in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 33:23.02
• Freshman Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station) finished 11th in the 800-meter run in a time of 1:59.17
• Senior Lucas Simonetti (Pittsford, N.Y. / Sutherland) placed 18th in the 1500-meter run in a time of 4:30.40
• Junior Mason Kooyman (Concord Township / Chardon) placed 22nd in the 400-meter run in a time of 50.47 seconds

Field events highlighted: (shotput and javelin results will be added once results are updated)

• Sophomore All-OAC high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) finished fourth in the high jump with a height of 6' 8¼"
• Freshman Drexton Friscone (Columbia Station / Columbia) placed seventh in triple jump with a mark of 42' 7½" and placed 19th in long jump with a mark of 20' 1½"
• Sophomore Thomas Hickman (Oxford / Talawanda) finished eighth in dicus throw with a mark of 140' 7" and 15th in hammer throw with a distance of 147' 7"

On the relay side:

• The 4x100-meter relay squad of freshman Kaeden Faggs (Marion / Harding), sophomore Sean Summers  (Avon Lake), sophomore Broden Bostwick (Strongsville / St. Edward), freshman Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights / Benedictine) placed eighth in a time of 43.21 seconds

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, April 22 when they host the 53rd Annual Sparky Adams Invitational inside George Finnie Stadium.
