ANGOLA, IN -  The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team finish second at the Mrs. G Invitational hosted by Trine University in Keith E. Busse Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center. 

BW placed second out of 10 participating teams with 90 points. 

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y. / DePew) placed sixth in the one-mile run in a time of 4:32.43
• Senior ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) placed second in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.47 seconds
• Senior Nick Dascani (Toledo/ Springfield) finished second in the 3000-meter run in a time of 9:08.46
• Freshmen Kaeden Faggs (Marion / Harding) placed second in the 60-meter run in a time of 7.06 seconds and third in the 200-meter run in a time of 22.80 seconds
• Freshmen Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station) finished second in the 800-meter run in a time of 1:59.79
• Freshmen Drexton Friscone (Columbia Station / Columbia) placed seventh in the 400-meter run in a time of 53.47 seconds

Field events highlighted:

• Sophomore Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind. / International School of Indiana) placed fifth in shot put with a mark of 45' 9¼". 
• Junior John Haberman (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg) finished eighth in weight throw with a distance of 47' 1½". 
• Sophomore Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) placed third in the high jump with a height of 6' 6"
• Faggs placed second in the long jump with a distance of 21' 2½"
• Clark finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 40' 5½"

On the relay side:

• In the 4x400 meter relay squad of Friscone, Sikorski, Faggs and junior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) finish fourth in a time of 3:36.44

BW will partake in its home meet on Saturday, February 10 for the Mid-February at 4:00 p.m. in the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
