ACADEMIC MAJOR: Accounting & Finance
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2015-2016, Tanner played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third varsity letter.
GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Tanner played his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He played in all 14 games, including one start, took a team-leading 73 shots, including 43 on-goal, scored 19 goals to tie for second and had four assists for 23 total points. He also collected 16 ground balls and caused six turnovers. BW finished 7-7 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Tanner played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second letter. He played in 15 games, including two starts, took 59 shots, including 28 on-goal, scored nine goals and added one assist for 10 points. He also collected six ground balls and caused one turnover. BW finished with a school-record 12 victories, including a record 11 straight wins to start the season, a 12-3 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament semi-finals.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Tanner played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third letter. He appeared in 17 games, tallied up 11 groundballs and he put 15 of his 28 shots on cage. In a non-conference matchup against Hanover (Ind.), Tanner recorded three groundballs.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Tanner grew up in Murrysville, Pennsylvania and graduated from Frankling Regional High School.
Tanner played four years of lacrosse and earned three varsity letters. He was a two-time honorable mention All-MSLCA selection and earned second-team All-WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) honors. He was the Franklin Regional H.S. Most Improved Player in 2011 and its Attackman of the Year in 2013.
Tanner also was a member of the Ski Club, Key Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
