ACADEMIC MAJOR: Sport Management

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Steve Wozniak played four seasons of men's lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University and earned four varsity letters. 

WOZNIAK'S BW LACROSSE LEGACY:  Steve helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 39-18 career record. He led BW to a 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference regular season co-championship and a single-season school-record for victories with 14 and a 14-3 record. Steve also helped BW win a school-record 11 straight games to begin the 2015 season.

CAREER SYNOPSIS:  Steve played in 50 career contests, including 18 starts. He took 31 total shots, including 17 on-goal, scored eight goals and added 15 assists for 23 career points. He also had 36 ground balls and caused eight turnovers.

THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Steve played his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He took 12 shots, including four on-goal, scored three goals, including a career-high two scores in a season-ending 20-11 win at Bethany (W.Va.) College, and had 10 assists for 13 total points. He also a career-high three assists in a 10-7 win against Wilmington College.  His 10 assists ranked second on the team. Steve also collected 14 ground balls and caused two turnovers. BW finished 7-6 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Steve played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second varsity letter. He played in 11 games, took four shots, scored one goal and collected five ground balls. BW finished 7-7 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Steve played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third letter. He played in 13 games, including eight starts, took four shots, all on-goal, scored once and had six ground balls and three caused turnovers. BW finished with a school-record 12 victories, including a record 11 straight wins to start the season, a 12-3 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament semi-finals.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Steve played his fourth season of lacrosse and earned his fourth varsity letter. He appeared in 16 games, took 12 total shots, including seven on-goal, scored three goals and had five assists for eight total points. BW set a single-season school-record for wins with 14, finished 14-3 overall and tied for the OAC regular season title with a 6-1 record.

CLUBS AND OTHER ORGNANIZATIONS: Steve is also a member of the Sport Management Club.
