ACADEMIC MAJOR: Physics
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2015-2016, Joey played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third varsity letter.
GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Joey played his first season of lacrosse earned his first varsity letter. He played in all 14 games, including three starts, took 38 shots, including 26 shots on-goal, scored eight goals and had four assists for 12 total points. He collected 30 ground balls and caused 19 turnovers. BW finished 7-7 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Joey played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second letter. He played in 14 games, took 40 total shots, including 24 on-goal, ranked third with 15 goals and added six points to tie for fifth in scoring with 21 points. He scored a team-high 10 man-up goals, collected nine ground balls and caused two turnovers. BW finished with a school-record 12 victories, including a record 11 straight wins to start the season, a 12-3 record and advanced to the OAC Tournament semi-finals.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Joey played his third season of lacrosse and earned his third letter. He appeared in 11 games and scored four goals on the season. In a non-conference game at Hanover (Ind.) College Joey scored a season-high two goals.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joey Briski grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pine-Richland High School.
Joey played four seasons of lacrosse, earned three varsity letters and led Pine-Richland H.S. to the Western Pennsylavnia Interscholastic Association semifinals. Joey also was a team captain and won the 2011 Matt Walls Award.
In addition, Joey competed in the Pennsylvania Technology Students of America state competition in arcitecture.
