LUKE RIEMENSCHEIDER'S BW LACROSSE LEGACY: Luke helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 32-11 career record in three seasons with team marks of 6-5 in 2012-2013, 12-3 in 2014-2015 and 14-3 in 2015-2016.
OAC Co-TITLE/ WIN RECORDS: Luke also helped to lead BW to a 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference regular season co-championship and a single-season school-record for victories with 14 and a 14-3 record. Luke also helped BW win a school-record 11 straight games to begin the 2015 season.
CAREER SYNOPSIS: Luke played three seasons of lacrisse and appeared in 42 career games, including 20 starts. He took 149 total shots, including 64 on-goal, scored 27 goals and added seven assists for 34 career points. Luke also had four goals on a player-up situation, grabbed 50 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Luke played his first season of lacrosse and earned his first letter. Luke was the only midfielder to start all 11 games, took a total school single-season record of 117 shots and scored, and then had a single-season record of 24 goals, including a goal in 10 of 11 games. He also tallied four assists of 28 points to rank second on the team. He scored multiple goals in nine games, including a career-high of four in a 21-12 win against Houghton (N.Y.) College on March 8th. BW finished 6-5 in its inaugural season of varsity lacrosse.
As a junior in 2013-2014, Luke did not play lacrosse.
As a senior in 2014-2015, Luke played his second season of lacrosse and earned his second letter. Luke played in all of the Yellow Jackets' 14 games. He tallied up two goals, three assists, and put 45.8 percent of his shots on goal.
As a fifth-year senior in 2015-2016, Luke played his third season of lacrosee and earned his third varsity letter. He appeared in 17 games, including eight starts. He took eight total shots, including five on-goal, and scored once. He also had 13 ground balls and caused two turnovers. BW set a single-season school-record for wins with 14, finished 14-3 overall and tied for the OAC regular season title with a 6-1 record.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Luke Reimenschneider is from Rocky River, Ohio and graduated from Rocky River High School.
Luke played four seasons of football and earned two letters, four seasons of hockey and earned two letters, and four seasons of lacrosse and earned four letters. As a junior in 2009-10, Luke was a second-team All-West Shore Conference pick in football. As a senior in 2010-11, Luke garnered first-team All-WSC mention in football and all-region honorable mention in lacrosse.

FAMILY CONNECTION: The Riemenschneider Family is one of the most important in Baldwin Wallace University history. The Riemenscheider's were instrumental in setting up the Riemsnschneider-Bach Institute of Music and the current MBA Healthcare Management program.
In addition, Luke's brother, Brock '18, was a freshman on the lacrosse team in 2014-2015. Dirk '88, Luke's father, was a Division III All-American offensive tackle. His uncle, Chris Riemenschneider 86 (Dirk's brother), was an All-American defensive end. His father, Walter, is a BW graduate. The BW Alumni Directory has more than 50 Riemeschneider's listed as graduates of the university.
