BALDWIN-WALLACE COLLEGE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a junior in 2011-2012, Lauren will compete in her third seasons of track and cross country.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Lauren is a Dean's List student.  As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Lauren became a B-W Jacket Scholar for maintaining a cumulative GPA over 3.5.  As a junior in 2011-2012, Lauren was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma. She is also a part of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION: Lauren has had a solid cross country career thus far.  B-W carries a 292-100-1 record since Lauren joined the Brown and Gold.  Lauren's best finish was at the College of Wooster Invitational when she placed 14th with a time of 17:00.60.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Lauren competed in her first season of cross country.  Lauren had a personal best time of 20:02, but she was later injured at the All-Ohio Meet and was out for the rest of the season.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Lauren  competed in her second season of cross country. She had a season best placing 14th in the 4k race at the College of Wooster Invitational with a time of 17.00.60.

As a junior in 2011-12, Lauren competed in her third season of cross country. She had a season best placing of 21st in OAC Conference Championship with a time of 23:26.9. Lauren also placed first on the team at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Meet at 22nd with a time of 23:07.1.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:Lauren has had a solid three-year indoor track career thus far.  After overcoming an injury in cross country in her freshman year, Lauren came back and competed in indoor track and helped B-W achieve a 35-10 record.  Overall in Lauren's three seasons in the Brown and Gold, B-W holds an outstanding 121-14 record.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Lauren competed in her first season of indoor track. She ran her personal best in the 800-meter run at the Crimsion and Gold Meet where she posted a time of 2:37.93.  At the Mid-February Meet Lauren ran personal bests in the 1000-meter dash and the 1-Mile run with respective times of 3:24.70 and 5:43.55.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Lauren  competed in her second season of indoor track. She recorded a season best of 5:32.43 in the 1-mile run.  

As a junior in 2011-2012, Lauren did not compete in indoor track due to a knee injury. Look for Lauren to compete during outdoor season in the spring.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:Lauren has had a solid three year outdoor track career thus far.  She has helped B-W achieve a 115-14 record in her three years as a Yellow Jacket.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Lauren ran in her first season of outdoor track.  She posted a personal-best time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:30.35 at the Sparky Adams Invitational.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Lauren competed in her second season of outdoor track. Lauren had a career best time in 1500-meter run (5:04.18). She also competed in two new events, 3000-meter run (11:12.87) and 5000-meter run (19:04.03).

As a junior 2011-12, Lauren competed in her third season of outdoor track.  Lauren was still recovering from a knee injury that occured in the winter so she only competed in the 1500-meter run.  She posted her best time at the OAC Championship meet where she placed 12th in a time of 5:10.50.

DO YOU BELONG TO ANY OTHER CLUBS OR ORGANIZATIONS AT B-W:  Lauren is a member of many clubs including: SAAC, Teaching Together, GCTM, and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Lauren ran cross country for four years and earned three letters.  She also ran track for four years and earned four letters.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.):    In cross county, Lauren was 21st in the WPIAL race in 2007 and a PIAA State Qualifier.  She also earned the team Most Determined Runner Award in 2006 and MVP in 2007.  In track, she was team MVP for meets in 2006 and 2007.
