SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):   As a junior in 2011-2012, Tess ran in her third seasons of cross country, and track.

GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION: Tess has had a solid start to her cross country career thus far.  B-W has had a record of 292-100-1 with Tess on the team.  In her first two years in the Brown and Gold, Tess has helped B-W to become OAC champions. 

As a freshman in 2009-10, Tess competed in her first season of cross country. She Earned first varsity letter and had her best finish of 33rd (22:01.12) at the Case Western Reserve University Bill Sudeck Classic. She also helped the Yellow Jackets win the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship.

As a sophomore in 2010-11, Tess competed in her second season of cross counrtry as she helped the Yellow Jackets win the  Ohio Athletic Conference for the second straight year. She recoreded her best finish at the Case Western Reserve University Bill Sudeck Classic where she placed of 24th in a time of 16:26.63.

As a junior in 2011-12, Tess competed in her third season of cross country.  She had her best finish of the season at the College of Wooster Invatational when she placed 10th in a time of 21:36.33.  Tess also placed 26th at the OAC Conference Championship meet when she crossed the finish line in a time of 23:57.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Tess has had a solid start to her outdoor track career thus far.  B-W carries a 121-14 record in Tess' first three years of competition.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Tess competed in her first season of indoor track.  She posted a time of 2:30.24 in the 800-meter run at the Cleveland College Championship.  She also posted a time of 3:18.25 in the 1000-meter run at the Mid-February Meet.  Tess was also a part of the distance medley relay team that placed first at the OAC Championships in Marietta with a time of 12:18.30.  This was a season-best time for the relay and broke the Marietta Track record.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Tess competed in her second season of indoor track.Tess had a season best of 3:14.60 in the 1000-meter run during the 2011 OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship.

As a junior in 2011-2012, Tess competed in her third season of indoor track. She had season bests in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.55 which is a ten second improvement since last season. Tess also had season-bests in the 1000-meter  run with a time of 3:16.31 and 5:27.29 in the one-mile run.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Tess ran track and cross country for four years and earned four varsity letters in both sports. She also played two years of basketball but did not letter.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, SPECIFY SPORT & YEAR: (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In cross county as a sophomore, Tess was honorable mention All-Ohio Capital Conference.  As a junior and senior, she was team captain for cross country.  As a senior, she was second-team All-OCC and All-Central District.  In track, she was team captain as a junior and senior.  She was also a regional qualifier as a freshman and sophomore.
