SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a junior in 2011-2012, Cristina  is competing in her third season of track and earned her thrid varsity letter.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Tina has had a solid three-year indoor track career thus far.   Overall in Tina's three seasons in the Brown and Gold, B-W holds an outstanding 121-14 record. Tina has finished 9th in the nation in shot put her junior year.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Tina competed in her first season of indoor track and field. She participated in numerous events including the shot put, weight throw, and weight throw exhibition. Tina's best shot put throw of the season was at the 2010 OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship with a throw of 37'04.00" and placed seventh. She had a season best of 41'05.25" in the weight throw at the 2010 Cleveland College Championship where she placed seventh. In the weight throw exhibition, Tina had a season best of 43'01.00" at the 2010 OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship where she finished in a season best, fourth place.
As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Tina  competed in her second season of indoor track. She had a season best of 40'11.75 feet in the shot put at the All-Ohio meet and 53'11.75 feet in the weight during the OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship which also gave her a provisional mark for the national meet.
As a junior in 2011-12, Tina is participating in her third season of indoor track. She earned OAC Track Athlete of the Week honors on January 30 for her efforts in leading the B-W women to the title of the OAC North Split Squad Meet on Jan. 28. She won the shot put and weight throw. She also earned All-OAC honors by placing third in the shotput with a mark of 41' 5" along with a second place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 51' 10.50". Christina also placed first at All-Ohio with a career best weight throw of 55' 9.75" and with that throw Cristina now holds the school record in weight throw. She also had a career best shot put at the Kent State Open with a mark of 42' 4.75".  Cristina competed at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Grinnell (Iowa) College where she placed ninth in the weight throw with a toss of 54'7.5" and missed All-America accolades by one spot.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Tina has had a solid three year outdoor track career thus far.  She has helped B-W achieve a 115-14 record in her three years as a Yellow Jacket. Tina has made two NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances and finished as high as 13th in the shot put and 15th in the discus throw. 

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Tina competed in her first season of outdoor track and field.  She established personal-best marks in four events including the shot put (34'8.25"), discus (134'04"), hammer throw (143'09"), and javelin (81'03").
As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Tina competed in her second season of outdoor track and earned her second varsity letter. Tina led the team in shot put (41"1.50'), discus (147"11') and hammer (150"10'). She also qualified for the 2011 NCAA Division III National Track & Field Championship Meet in the discus and placed 23rd overall, but did not qualify for the finals.
As a junior in 2011-12, Cristina is competing in her third season of outdoor track and will earn her third varsity letter in the spring. She is competing in the shot, discus and hammer.  At the OAC Championships, Tina's best result was finishing second in the discus with a throw of 139' 11".  She also finished fifth in shot put at 38' 9.5".  During the 6th Annual Gator Invatational Tina threw 150' 11" in discus which places her fourth nationally and a qualifier for nationals.  This is Tina's second appearance at the national tournament.  At the national tournament Tina placed 15th in the discus throw with a toss of 138' 1".  Also, Tina placed 13th in the nation in the shot put.
