SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a senior in 2011-12, Julie will run in her fourth seasons of cross country and her third season of track 

GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION: Julie had a solid four-year cross country career.  B-W carried a 395-147-1 record in Julie's time in the Brown and Gold and also won two OAC championships.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Julie participated in her first season of cross country and earned a varsity letter. Julie's best place in the 2008-2009 season was 85th with a time of 25:47.2 (6K) at the OAC Championship Meet at Marietta. Her overall best time was 22:03 (in the 5K) which she posted in the Calvin College Meet in Calvin, Michigan. She placed 130th in this meet.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Julie competed in her second season of cross country. She earned her second varsity letter as a sophomore while placing 34th (24:12.37) at OAC Championship meet, 119th at NCAA Great Lakes Regional and 266th at NCAA Nationals.  She ran a season-best 20:53.4 at the Calvin (Mich.) College Knight Invite.

As a junior in 2010-2011, Juilie  competed in her third season of cross counrty and earned her third varsity letter. Julie had one of her top finishes at the Case Western Reserve University Bill Sudeck Meet with a time of16:37.02 finishing 34th with a total of 74 runners. Also she finished 48th  at the OAC Championship Meet at Otterbein University with a time of 24:44 out of 135 total runners.

As a senior in 2011-12, Julie ran in her fourth season of  cross country. She had a season-best race during the 4k Wooster Invitational by placing 14th with a time of (17:02.69).  At the OAC Conference meet, Julie ran a time of 26:45.3 which placed her 110th overall.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Julie had a solid three-year indoor track career at B-W.  Julie ran a team-best 3:11.10 in the 1000-meter run her senior year at the OAC Championship meet.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Julie competed in her first season of indoor track.  Julie had season-bests in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.36, the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:16.66, and the 1-mile run with a time of 5:36.03.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Julie competed in her second season of indoor track.  Julie had a career-best time in the 1000-meter run finishing in 3:10.32.  She also had a season best in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.98.

As a senior in 2011-2012, Julie competed in her third season of indoor track. She had a season-best of 2:27.85 in the 800m run at the Fighting Scots Invitational along with a team best of 3:11.10 in the 1000m run at the OAC Indoor Championships placing 5th and scoring four points for the Yellow-Jackets. Look for her to compete during the outdoor season this spring.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Julie had a solid three-year outdoor track career.  Julie earned three varsity letters in outdoor track.  Julie won All-OAC honors when her 4x800-meter relay team placed first at the 2009 OAC Championship meet at Wilmington her freshman year.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Julie competed in her first season of outdoor track and field and earned her first letter.  Julie earned All-OAC honors as a member of the first place 4x800 meter relay team at the 2009 OAC Championships at Wilmington.  That relay team won in a time of 9:23.47.  Julie had season-bests of 2:23.82 in the 800-meter run at the OWU Marv Frye Invite and 5:06.37 in the 1500-meter run at the Costal Carolina (S.C.) Invite.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Julie competed in her second season of track.  Julie's best time in the 800-meter run came at the All-Ohio Track Meet where she posted a time of 2:26.92. Also Julie ran the 1500-meter in a season-best time of 5:21.53.  Julie ran the 3000-meter steeplechase for the first time in her college career this season and posted a time of 13:14.46.

As a senior in 2011-2012, Julie will compete in her third season of outdoor track.  She competed in both the 800-meter run and the 3000-meter steeplechase.  She posted her best time in the 800-meter run at the Marv Frye Invitational when she recorded a 2:28.83.  At the OAC Gold meet, Julie ran a career-best time in the 3000-meter steeplechase when she crossed the finishline at 12:30.58.
