BW Women’s Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match to Kenyon

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team dropped a rescheduled non-conference match to perennial NCAA Division III powerhouse Kenyon College, 9-0, at the Jasper Tennis Center.

BW (4-11) received its best effort from its number-one singles player, junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC player Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge), and its No.1 doubles duo of Blatt and junior Mackenzie Donalson (Hilliard/ Davidson). Blatt lost at No.1 singles by the scores of 6-2 and 6-4. She and Donalson battled at No.1 doubles, but lost 8-3.

The Yellow Jackets next match on Wednesday, April 8 at John Carroll University has been postponed due to forecasted bad weather.  The match will now be played on Friday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m.
BW will next play on Saturday, April 11 when it travels  to Cincinnati for a pair of OAC matches against Ohio Northern University at 8 a.m. and Muskingum University at 11 a.m. at the world-renown Linder Family Tennis Center
