BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team closed out its fall portion of its schedule be dropping a non-conference dual match to NCAA Division II Clarion (Pa.) University by a final score of 6-3 on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.
The Golden Eagles led 3-0 after doubles action.
The Yellow Jackets won three of six singles matches to fall 6-3. Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference number one singles player Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) won in three sets by scores of 5-7, 7-6 (7-1) and 12-10. Freshman number three singles player Shannon Finkenthal (Beachwood) won her match by default. Sophomore number five singles player Anatasia Koval (Seven Hills/Normandy) won her match by scores of 6-2, 6-1.

BW returns to on January 31, 2015 when it travels to Kalamazoo, Michigan to open its spring portion of its schedule against Kalamazoo College in the Markin Center. The first home match of the spring season will be on February 21 when the team hosts Alma (Mich.) College in a non-conference match at the North Ridge Racquet Club in North Ridgeville at 6 p.m.
