BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Whitney Yoder is playing her fourth season of women's tennis at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-14.  She has earned three varsity letters and is one of the top Division III women's tennis scholar-athletes. 

ACADEMIC HONORS:     Whitney is an outstanding student-athlete who carries a better than 3.7 grade point average. As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Whitney was named as an ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Scholar-Athlete and as a Jacket Scholar.  At the 2011-12 BW Honors Day Awards Ceremony, she received the Pitcher Psychology Award. In 2012-2013, Whitney was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society.

GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2010-2011, Whitney competed in her first season of tennis and earned her first varsity letter.  She saw limited action and posted a 1-2 singles and 2-3 doubles record. B-W compiled an 18-8 overall record, finished second during the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season (8-1), won the OAC Tournament title and qualified for their fourth NCAA Division III National Tournament appearance in the last five years. 

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Whitney played in her second season of tennis and earned her second letter. She started in both singles and doubles. Whitney mostly played No.5 singles and No.2 doubles. She compiled a 5-20 singles and 7-18 doubles record. BW finished 9-14 overall.

As a junior in 2012-13, Whitney played in her third season of tennis and earned her third varsity letter. She played in seven singles matches and had a record of 5-2. She also compiled a 12-11 record in doubles play. She helped BW to a 11-10 recorded in Whitney's junior year.

As a senior in 2013-14. Whitney will be playing in her fourth season of tennis and look to earn her fourth varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Whitney Yoder grew up in Medina, Ohio and graduated from Medina High School. Whitney played tennis four years of tennis and earned four varsity letters. She received All-Medina County honors in 2007 and 2009. She received honorable mention All-County in 2006 and 2008. Whitney received the scholar athlete award all four years.

Academically, Whitney graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.
