COLUMBUS, Ohio- -  The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team lost to Milwaukee School of Engineering (Wisc.), 1-0, on Saturday afternoon in its second round match at the Capital University Classic at Bernlohr Stadium. The Yellow Jackets opened the tournament by losing, 4-0, to Allegheny (Pa.) College yesterday.

In the first half, neither team was able to find the back of the net.  It was a tough defensive effort by both BW (1-4) and MSOE (2-1) that resulted in a scoreless first half.  The Yellow Jackets and MSOE each attempted five shots in the first half.  BW attempted four shots on goal to MSOE's one.

In the second half,  the Yellow Jackets continued to play tough defense, but at the 75:09 mark, MSOE's freshman midfielder/forward Carley Mitus broke a scoreless tie with a header goal for the game-winner.  Freshman defender Kelsey Hailey was credited on the assist. BW was unable to equalize.
