No. 9 STUNT Earns First Win Against No. 11 Heidelberg, Falls to Walsh

BEREA, Ohio – The No. 9 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University STUNT team hosted its first home games of the inaugural season against No. 11 Heidelberg University and Walsh University in the Ursprung Gymnasium.

The Yellow Jackets (1-5) defeated Heidelberg by a final score of 5-1. In the following game, BW fell to Walsh by a final score of 9-1.

The power players of this game were junior base/tumbler Ashley Blascak (Grafton / Midview), sophomore top Lily Knox (Stow / St. Vincent-St. Mary), junior base/tumbler Janelle Ludwick (Berea / St. Joseph Academy), sophomore base/back/tumbler Madelyn Morrison (Conneaut), and sophomore top Kaylee Spangler (Brook Park / North Royalton).

Each of the power players contributed to the two points earned in Quarter 3 (Jumps and Tumbling), and the three points earned in Quarter 4 (Team Routine).

No. 9 BW vs. Walsh - Lost, 9-1

BW received one technical foul point. There were no power players in this game.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, March 2 at 12:00pm for a road contest against Heidelberg University.
