BW Men Finish Eighth at OAC Cross Country Championships

GATES MILLS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished eighth at the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Cross County Championships hosted by John Carroll University on the campus of Gilmour Academy.

The top 18 runners are deemed All-OAC (first nine make the first-team and the second nine make the second-team). The Yellow Jacket men placed eighth of 10 teams with 231 points.

Sophomore Brian Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) led the Yellow Jacket men as he was the lone All-OAC runner with a 15th place finish.   Brennan crossed the finish line in a time of 27:54.21.  Freshmen Evan Milovich (Westlake) was the next BW finisher, as he placed 90th in a time of 30:17.35.   Junior Alex Fuhrmann (Painesville/Riverside) was right behind Milovich in 91st place with a time of 30:19.12.

BW is back in action on Saturday, November 15 when it travels to Mason to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional hosted by Wilmington College at The Golf Center at Kings Island at 11 a.m.   The 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships hosted by Wilmington are on Saturday, November 22 at The Golf Center at Kings Island at 11 a.m.
