BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:  Stephen Humbert will compete in his fourth season of cross country, his third season of track and his second season of lacrosse at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned three varsity letters in cross country, two varsity letters in track and one varsity letter in lacrosse.

GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION:  Stephen enters his senior season with a solid cross country career thus far.  He has helped BW to a 171-167 record in his three seasons in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Stephen competed in his first season of cross country and earned his first varsity letter. He had one of his best races at the Calvin (Mich.) College Knight Invitational, finishing 133rd with a time of 29:11.30.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Stephen competed in his second season of cross country and earned his second varsity letter. He had a time of 28:39.9 during the OAC Championship meet, placing 95th. Stephen also ran a season best of 19:07.27 and finished 13th during the Wooster 5K Invitational. His best finish in the 8K race came at the Calvin (Mich.) College Invitational where he finished 104th out of 201 total runners with a mark of 27:24.80.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Stephen competed in his third season of cross country and earned his third varsity letter. His season-best run came at The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Invitational where he finished 261st in a time of 29:27.8.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Stephen will look to compete in his fourth season of cross country and will look to earn his fourth varsity letter.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Following a season without competing, Stephen enters his senior season as a distance runner in track. In his two seasons on the team, he had helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 78-11 record.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Stephen competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He had a season-best of 4:42.12 in the one-mile run and also earned his first varsity letter.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Stephen competed in his second season of indoor track and field. He set a career-best in the one-mile run with a time of 4:37.89.  He also set season best times of 2:11.90 in the 800-meter run and 2:54.20 in the 1000-meter run.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Stephen did not compete in track and field.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Stephen will look to compete in his third season of indoor track and field and will look to earn his third varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Following a season without competing, Stephen enters his senior season as a distance runner in track. In his two seasons on the team, he had helped BW compile a 79-9 record.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Stephen competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He had a season-best of 2:07.05 in the 800-meter dash and 4:17.87 in the one-mile run.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Stephen competed in his second season of outdoor track and field.  Stephen posted a career-best in the 800-meter run when he crossed the finish line at 2:04.62.  He also posted a time of 4:20.15 in the 1500-meter run at the Coastal Carolina Meet.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Stephen did not compete in track and field.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Stephen will look to compete in his third season of outdoor track and field and will look to earn his third varsity letter.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION:  Stephen enters his senior season with five goals and one assist for six points. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 6-5 record in its first season in school history. Look for Stephen to battle for a starting job at midfield.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Stephen completed in his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter.  He appeared in all 11 games for the 6-5 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season and scored five goals and one assist for six points, collected 12 ground balls, and caused two turnovers.  Stephen scored a career-high two goals in the first game in program history, a 10-7 win against Calvin (Mich.) College on Feb. 16 at Pinnacle Soccer Complex in Medina, Ohio, and registered his first career assist in a 12-2 win at Franciscan University on April 13.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Stephen will look to play in his second season of lacrosse and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Stephen grew up in Liberty Township, Ohio and graduated from Lakota East High School.

Stephen was a four-year letter winner in cross country and a two-year letter winner in track. He also played lacrosse.
