HOMETOWN AND HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: Nick attended Napoleon High School in Napoleon, Ohio. He ran in four seasons of outdoor track and field and earned three varsity letters. Nick set records of 11.6 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 23.6 seconds in the 200 meter dash.
