BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Tyler Burdorff played in his second season of football and competed in his second season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter in track and one varsity letter in football for his efforts.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Tyler competed in his first season of football and earned a Certificate of Participation. He competed for playing time at the linebacker position.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Tyler earned the starting spot at middle linebacker and his first varsity letter, he played in all ten games and recorded 39 tackles.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Tyler competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He was the only non-senior to compete in the shot put (47'10") and weight throw (48'8") events for BW.  He set a personal record with his weight throw at the 2013 Mid-February Meet.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Tyler competed in his second season of track and field. Tyler competed in the Shot Put and threw a season best of 50'6" at the 2014 Mid January Meet.Tyler also competed in the Weight Throw and threw a season best 57'09" at the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championship.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Tyler enters his sophomore season competing in multiple throwing events. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 32-4 record in his time in the Brown and Gold. Look for Tyler to be a key throwing contributor for BW.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Tyler competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He set the team's second-best record and his personal record at the University of Toledo Invitational in the shot put with his throw of 47'11.75." Tyler also set personal-bests in the discuss (139'4"), hammer (157'1"), and javelin (149'5") throws this season.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Tyler will compete in his second season and look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Tyler grew up in Painesville, Ohio and attended Painesville Riverside High School. He was a member of both the football and track teams. He played football for four years and was a three-year letterman, and he ran track for three years and earned three letters.

In football as a senior, Tyler was named first-team All-Premier Athletic Conference and first-team All-Lake County and as an honorable mention All-Northeast Ohio Lakes District choice. As a junior, he was a second-team All-PAC performer.

Academically, Tyler was a Principal's Honor Roll student and a member of the National Honor Society and Riverside Number One Club. He also won the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award.
