MARIETTA, Ohio—The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team was defeated by Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference contest, 2-1, Friday evening on Marietta Field.

BW (4-8-2, 1-2 OAC) scored the only goal in the first half , in the 41st minute, when freshman forward Ryan Hassell (Southampton, Bermuda / Western Reserve Academy) scored his third goal of the season. Freshman defender Adam Zaretti (Troy, Mi.) was credited with his first assist of the season.

In the second half Marietta (7-6, 2-1 OAC) came back and scored two unanswered goals in the 71st and 84th minutes.  

Senior goalkeeper Zach Haynes (Medina) made six saves for the Yellow Jackets

The Yellow Jackets next game is on Wednesday, October 14 when they host, OAC foe, the University of Mount Union on Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m.
