BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse junior defender and Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year Josiah Greve (Milford) was named to the inaugural Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Division III All-West Region first-team.
"It is a great honor for Josiah, he has been one of the best players on our team and in our conference for the past three years," said Head Coach Jason Tarnow. "This award is a reflection of not only Josiah, but our program."
Greve led BW to its first Co-OAC Regular Season Title and second consecutive season as the top scoring defense in NCAA Division III. This season he caused a school-record 47 turnovers and picked up 64 ground balls.
In his career, Greve holds the school-record for caused turnovers with 109 and has tallied up 143 ground balls in three seasons. He is a three-time All-OAC first-team selection and earned Academic All-OAC honors last season.
The Yellow Jackets won a school-record 14 games and finished the year with an overall record of 14-3.
