BW Men’s Golf Completes Day One at Nye Intercollegiate

WOOSTER, OHIO -- Sophomore Adam Sanders (Fairview Park) shot a team-best 76 strokes and the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team completed the first round of the Nye Intercollegiate hosted by The College of Wooster today (Saturday, April 20, 2013) at Wooster Country Club in the team's final tournament of the season.


BW carded a first-round total of 331 strokes on the par-72 and 6,545-yard layout.

In addition to Sanders, sophomore Cody Lyon (Wadsworth/ Medina Highland) carded an 84.  Junior Augie Ward (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) followed with 85 strokes, junior Chris Nader (Westlake) totalled an 86, and freshman Connor Duplin (North Canton/ St. Thomas Aquinas) tallied 97 strokes.

BW wraps up the 2012-13 campaign tomorrow in the second round of the Nye Intercollegiate.
