Daniel Carinci enters his first season as a graduate assistant baseball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024.

Carinci comes to Berea after graduating from Marshall University in the spring of 2023. While at Marshall, he appeared in 88 games making 86 starts and had a .269 batting average with 88 hits, 37 RBI, 20 doubles and six home runs over the course of two sesasons.

Carinci began his career at the University of Alabama in 2019 where he appeared in 17 games making three starts and recorded three hits and a RBI. He then went on to play at Kansas State University from 2020-2021 where he appeared in 56 games making 46 starts and had a .301 average with 50 hits, 21 RBI, 11 doubles, and three home runs.

Carinci was a four-year letterwinner for Pickering High School in Ajax, Ontario, Canada where he was named Male Athlete of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2018 and received honorable mention recognition for the Perfect Game Canada/Puerto Rico All-America squad. He also played on the Canadian Junior National Team and was rated as the top infield prospect in Canada by Prep Baseball Report.
