Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at the Ursuline Invitational

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished fourth at the two-day Ursuline College Invitational at the Tanglewood Club.

BW finished fourth of five teams with a team score of 772 points. NCAA Division II Malone University won the invitational with a team score of 732.

The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore Grace Magee (Skaneateles, N.Y.) and freshman Allison Mills (Dover) as they finished ninth in 10th. Magge recorded two rounds of 92 for a final score of 184 and Mills carded rounds of 91 and 94 for a total of 185. Freshman Alexis Wilkinson (Dover/Dover), sophomore Erinn Maynard (New London) and freshmen Emily Hunt (Marysville) close out the top-five. Wilkinson shot rounds of 98 and 99 for a final score of 197, Maynard recorded rounds of 103 on both days for a total of 206 and Hunt carded two rounds of 106 for a final score of 212.

Playing as an individual freshman Hannah Durst (Madison) shot rounds of 116 and 107 for a final score 223.  

BW is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2 when it travels to Harrod, Ohio for the Polar Bear Classic hosted by Ohio Northern University at the Colonial Golfers Club.
