Women’s Golf Takes 12th at Allegheny Invitational

MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished 12th at the two day Allegheny Invitational at the Country Club of Meadville.

BW posted a team score of 826 and finished 12th of 13 teams. Gannon (Pa.) University won the invitational with a score of 636.

Sophomores Grace Magee (Skaneateles, N.Y.) and Erinn Maynard (New London) had the top two scores for the Yellow Jackets. Magee shot an opening round 94 and a 105 in the final round for a total of 199 and Maynard carded rounds of 97 and 103 for a score of 200.

Along with Magee and Maynard, freshman Hannah Durst (Madison) posted rounds of 106 and 105 for a total of 211 and freshman Emily Hunt (Marysville) fired rounds of 104 and 112 for a final score of 216.

BW is back in action on October 1 and 2 when it hosts the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Grey Hawk Golf Club in LaGrange, Ohio.
