Women’s Golf Opens Spring Play at River Green Spring Classic

AVON PARK, Fla. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a second place finish at the River Green Spring Classic hosted by NAIA Webber International (Fla.) University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW finished second of two teams with a team score of 383. Webber International won the match. 

The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Alexis Wilkinson (Dover), freshman Allison Mills (Dover) and sophomore Grace Magee (Skaneateles, N.Y.). Wilkinson shot a team-best round of 92, Mills carded a round of 93 and Magee finished the day with a 94. Freshman Emily Hunt (Marysville) shot a round of 104 and sophomore Erinn Maynard (New London) recorded a round of 107 to close out the top-five.

Senior Kelsey Johnson (Carmel, Ind. /Park Tudor) competed as an individual and had a round of 115.  

BW is back in action on Saturday, March 25 when it travels to Chagrin Falls for the Ursuline Invitational at The Tanglewood Club.
