BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Brandon Cichocki played four seasons of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University  and earned four varsity letters. The 2014 BW Co-Pitcher of the Year was one of the top relief pitchers to ever wear the Brown & Gold and owns four school-records

BASEBALL HONORS: As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Brandon was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on April 21, 2014. He also was the 2014 BW Co-Pitcher of the Year award-winner (along with Cory Waite '15).

BRANDON'S BW SINGLE-SEASON & CAREER RECORDS:  Brandon owns the BW career record for saves with 15. As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Brandon set a BW single-season record with nine saves. He also owns the single-season school-record for appearances with 26 in 2014 and the career mark with 69.

CICHOCKI'S BASEBALL LEGACY:  Brandon  and the BW senior class of 2016 graduates with a 111-65 record, three OAC Tournament appearances, including advancing to the OAC Championship Game twice, two NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances, including winning one Regional title (Mid-Atlantioc Region inn 2014) and one NCAA Division III College World Series appearance (2014).

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:   Brandon appeared in school career-record 69 career games all as a reliever and compiled a 4-6 record with a career-record 15 saves and a 3.44 earned run average (ERA). In 1994, he made a single-season school-record 26 appearances and had a record nine saves. For his career, Brandon threw 81 innings, allowed 83 base hits and 46 runs (31 earned) and struck out 88 opposing batters (9.78 strikeouts per nine innings pitched).

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Brandon played his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He saw action as a relief pitcher and appeared in 12 games. Brandon compiled a 1-1 record with one save and a 4.05 ERA. He pitched 13 and one-third innings pitched, he struck out 18 and walked four. BW tied the single-season school-record for wins with 27 and finished 27-13 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Brandon played in his second season of baseball and earned his second letter. He appeared in 26 games in relief and pitched 35.2 innings as the "closer" in the bullpen. Brandon had a 2-2 record with 32 strikeouts, team-best 2.27 earned run average, and a school-record nine saves. Against Transylvania (Ky.) University on March 1, Brandon earned saves in both ends of a doubleheader. Brandon was named as the OAC Pitcher of the Week on April 21, 2014 for his relief efforts in wins versus Ohio Northern University (win) and against the University of Mount Union (save). He also was named as BW's Co-Pitcher of the Year. Brandon helped BW to win a single-season school-record 30 games, compile a 30-20 record, place second at the OAC Tournament, win the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament and advance to the school's first-ever Division III College World Series.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Brandon played his third season of baseball and earnedn his third letter. He was the "stopper" Brandon pitched in 19 games, all in relief, and compiled a 1-1 record and five saves with a 3.74 ERA. He struck out 26 opposing batters in 21 and two-third innings pitched. Opponents batted .241 against him. BW finished with a school-record 31 victories and a 31-12 record. The Yellow Jackets finished fourth at the OAC Tournament and advanced to their second straight NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Brandon played his fourth season of baseball and earned his fourth letter. He split the closer's role and appeared in 12 games. He compiled a 0-2 record with a 6.10 ERA in 10 and one-third innings pitched. He allowed 14 hits and nine runs (seven earned) and struck out 12 opposing batters. BW finished 23-20 overall record, tied for second in the OAC with a 13-5 mark and advanced to the OAC Championship Game.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Brandon Cichocki grew up in Walled Lake, Michigan and graduated from Walled Lake Central High School.

Brandon played four years of baseball and lettered three times. As a junior and senior, Brandon was named as an All-Kensington Lakes Activities Association performer as well as an All-District selection.

Academically, Brandon earned All-KLAA academic honors followin his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
