WOOSTER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2016 season at the unscored College of Wooster Invitational on the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course.
BW was led by sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference runner Kelly Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) as she finished fourth of 23 runners in a career-best 4k time of 16:40.1. Freshman Bella Pendola (Warsaw/River View) was right on Brennan's heels as she was fourth in a time of 16:40.2.
In addition, freshman Claire Makowski (Bethel Park, Pa.) finished in the top 10 as she placed 10th in a time of 18:13.9.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 10 when they travel to Delaware to compete in the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational at Liberty Park.
