SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011, Shannon competed in her second season of volleyball for the Yellow Jackets. As a freshman in 2010, Shannon played in her first season of volleyball and earned her first varsity letter.
GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION: Shannon has started off to a solid volleyball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 38-26 overall record during her first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket. She has appeared in 234 games played and has recorded 316 kills, 67 service aces, 713 digs and 57 total blocks.
As a freshman in 2010, Shannon played in all 33 matches and earned her first varsity letter. She alternated as a starter at outside hitter, rightside and as a defensive specialist. She had a team-high 39 service aces and was third in digs and blocks with 322 and 13 respectively. B-W finished 20-13 overall and advanced to the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.
As a sophomore in 2011, Shannon played in her second season of volleyball for the Yellow Jackets. She played in 116 games and recorded 131 kills, 28 service aces, and 19 total blocks. She also was second on the team in digs at 391
