BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Maddie Fortune competed in her third season of swimming and diving at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. She earned her third varsity letter and was named as the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Diver of the Year.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Maddie carries a 3.354 grade point average.
OAC DIVER OF THE YEAR & ATHLETICS HONORS: As a junior in 2014-2015, Maddie won both the one and three-meter diving events at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships and was named as the OAC Diver of the Year.
Maddie is a 4-time All-OAC diver. As both a sophomore in 2013-2014 and junior in 2014-2015, Maddie earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in the 1 and 3-meter events.
GENERAL SWIMMING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012- 2013, Maddie competed in her first season of swimming and earned her first varsity letter. She competed in the one and three-meter diving events. She had season-best scores of 218.70 points in the 1-meter event (6 dives) and 174.00 points in the 3-meter (6 dives) event. In the championship events, she had season-bests of 383.65 points in the 1-meter (10 dives) and 173.45 points in the 3-meter (10 dives) event.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Maddie competed in her second season of swimming and earned her second letter. Maddie earned All-OAC honors in both the one and 3-meter events and placed second to teammate Alice Clark at the OAC Championship Meet in each event. At the 2014 NCAA Division III Regional Meet, she placed 17th in the 3-meter with 373.30 points (10 dives) and was 22nd in the 1-meter with 363.25 points (10 dives). Maddie had career-bests of 275.65 points in the 1-meter (6 dives) and 403.50 points in the 1-meter (10 dives) championship dives and 222.70 points in the 3-meter (6 dives) dive. She also had a season-best of 392.70 points in the 3-meter (10 dives) championship dives.
As a junior in 2014-2015, Maddie competed in her third season of swimming and earned her third letter. She won both the one and three-meter diving events and earned All-OAC honors in each event at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships. Maddie was named as the OAC Diver of the Year. She won the 1-meter (10 dives) event with a season-best of 397.70 points and the 3-meter (10 dives) event with a career-best of 405.65 points. She also had season-bests of 223.75 points in the 1-meter (six dives) and 205.75 points in the 3-meter (6 dives) events. BW finished 7-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Maddie Fortune grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Akron Firestone High School.
Maddie played soccer for four seasons and earned three varsity letters. She also participated as a diver on the swimming team for four years and lettered four times.
In the classroom, Maddie was on the Honor Roll list all four years in high school.
