BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011-12, Angela competed in her second season of swimming and earned her second varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Angela became a Jacket Scholar for maintaining a cumulative GPA above 3.5. As a sophomore in 2011-12, she was honored at the 2011-12 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the women's swimming & diving team (3.87). Angela was also named a Jacket Scholar as well as was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma.

GENERAL SWIMMING AND DIVING INFORMATION: Angela is off to a solid swimming career thus far. Her personal bests throughout her first two seasons are: a time of 32.23 in the 50-meter breaststroke, a 5:25.28 in the 500-meter freestyle, 11:14.03 in the 1000-meter freestyle, a 2:20.87 in the 200-meter IM, and a 4:57.88 in the 400-meter IM. She also holds three school records in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.59), the 200-meter breaststroke (2:29.13), and in the 200-meter free relay (1:42.14).

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Angela competed in her first season of swimming, earning her first varsity letter and was one of the top female swimmers in the Ohio Athletic Conference. She was named as the OAC Female Swimmer of the Week for her efforts at Wilmington College on October 30, 2010 and again on December 6, 2010 for her efforts at the SUNY-Fredonia (N.Y.) Invitational Meet where she set school records in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events.  Angela earned All-OAC honors twice, in the 200-meter breaststroke where she placed third in a time of 2:29.63, the 100-meter breaststroke (third) in 1:07.05, and she was a member of the OAC-champion 200-meter medley relay team which won the event in 1:50.44.  Angela currently holds school records in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.59) and 200-meter breaststroke (2:29.13).

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Angela competed in her second season of swimming and again is one of the top swimmers in the OAC.  Angela earned All-OAC honors twice, in the 100-meter breststroke where she placed first, setting a new OAC record, in a time of 1:05.38 and in the 200-meter breaststroke where she also placed first, setting yet another OAC record, in a time of 2:24.08.  Among holding OAC records, Angela currently holds school records in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:13.00.  Angela posted team best times in the 50 breaststroke (32.33), and the 400 individual medley (4:58.85) on top of her record setting times in above events.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): Angela was a four-time first-team All-Federal League performer and four-time District qualifer. She was a two-time state qualifier in the 100-yard breaststroke. She was also a four-time North Easten Aquatic Conference All-Star, a Scholar Athlete and honorable mention All-Ohio in water polo. She was an Academic All-Ohio and Academic All-American pick.
