ACADEMIC MAJOR: Chemistry

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Emily Tallmadge completed her second season of soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014 and earned her second varsity letter. 

ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2012-13, Emily was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week on Oct. 22 after posting shutouts against John Carroll University (0-0 tie) on Oct. 17 and Capital University (1-0 win) on Oct. 20.  She also earned second-team All-OAC honors in 2012-13 and 2013-14. 

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Emily competed in her first season of soccer and earned her first varsity letter. She began the season as the starting goalkeeper, started 18 of 19 games, and recorded 71 saves and eight shutouts en route to second-team All-OAC honors.  She was also named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Goalie of the Week on Oct. 22 after posting shutouts against John Carroll University (0-0 tie) on Oct. 17 and Capital University (1-0 win) on Oct. 20.

As a sophomore in 2013-14, Emily competed in her second season of soccer and earned her second varsity letter. Emily played in 19 games and recorded 72 saves and four shutouts en route to Second Team All-OAC honors. BW finished 14-5-1 overall and tied the school record for wins in a season.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Emily completed her first season of lacrosse and earned her first varsity letter.  She appeared in three games, making two starts, for the 4-6 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season.  Despite playing in three games, Emily finished tied for second on the team with nine goals, a team-high .474 shot percentage and a .789 shots-on-goal percentage, collected 16 ground balls and eight draw controls, and caused seven turnovers.  Emily recorded two hat tricks, scoring a career-high four goals in the first game in program history, a 12-8 loss at Hiram College on March 2, and an 8-6 loss to Olivet (Mich.) College on March 23.  She also tallied career highs of 10 ground balls and six caused turnovers in a 9-4 win against NCAA Division II Walsh University on March 22 in the program's first home game.

As a sophomore in 2013-14, Emily did not play in her second season of lacrosse at BW.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Emily grew up in Fairview, Pa. and graduated from Fairview High School, where she played four seasons of soccer, two seasons of lacrosse, and competed in track and field for two seasons.

As a junior in 2010-11 and again as a senior in 2011-12, Emily was named first-team All-Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association District 10 in soccer.
