SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011-12, Melissa competed in her second season of basketball. She has earned two varsity letters.

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW:  As a sophomore in 2011-12, Melissa was honored at the 2011-12 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the women's basketball team (3.88). Also in 2011-2012, Melissa became a B-W Jacket Scholar.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: Melissa is off to a solid basketball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 35-18 record during her first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket. She has appeared in 18 games and averaged 0.7 points per games and grabbed 0.4 rebounds per game. Melissa has recorded a career total of 13 points, one assist, and one block.

As a freshman in 2010-2011 Melissa  played her first year of basketball. She played in a total of nine games all season and averaged 1.2 ppg. Melissa had a total of six rebounds for the season and was 5 of 6 from the line. She scored a career-best three points at Capital University on January 8, 2011.

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Melissa competed in her second season of basketball. She played in nine games the entire season and averaged 0.2 points per game. Melissa will look to receive more playing time for the Yellow Jackets next season.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In basketball Melissa earned first team in North Central Conference, first team in District, and Honorable Mention All-Ohio. Similairly, in Softball Melissa earned first team North Central Conference, first team district, and Honorable Mention All-Ohio.
