ACADEMIC MAJOR: Early Childhood Education
BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a senior in 2013-2014, Zach will played fourth season of tennis and earned his second varsity letter. As a freshman and sophomore, he earned a Certificate of Participation.
GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION: Zach has had a solid tennis career. BW has recorded an 92-11 record during his four seasons as a Yellow Jacket.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Zach played his first season of tennis and earned a Certificate of Participation. He did not compete in any varsity matches. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 21-5 overall and 6-3 OAC record and advanced to the semifinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Zach played his second season of tennis and received his second Certificate of Participation. He competed at No.6 singles and No.3 doubles and compiled a 1-2 singles and 2-2 doubles record in varsity matches. Zach helped BW set a school-record for wins with 29, finish 29-1 overall, win the OAC regular season and tournament titles and advance to the second round of the NCAA Divison III National Tournament.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Zach competed in his third season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He compiled a 5-2 singles record, including victories in each of his last five matches, and a 6-5 doubles mark. BW finished 23-1 overall and in second place in the OAC with an 8-1 mark.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Zach played his fourth season of tennis and earned his second letter. Zach compiled a 3-2 singles record in his senior season and also competed in 24 doubles matches with Kevin Fedrick and earned a 16-6 overall doubles record. Baldwin Wallacefinished with a 19-4 record during his senior season and finished second in the conference.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Zach Elbin grew up in Findlay, Ohio and graduated from Findlay High School. Zach played varsity tennis for four years and earned four varsity letters. In addition, he earned two varsity letters in football and one in tennis and baseball.
