GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Joe completed his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in all 11 games, including two starts, for the 6-5 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season. Joe was fourth on the team with both 33 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. He made his first career start in a 10-7 win against Wilmington College on March 22, collected a career-high nine ground balls in a 12-2 win at Franciscan University on April 13, and caused a career-high three turnovers in a 12-7 loss against Thiel (Pa.) College on April 24.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joe Nicholds grew up in Seven Hills, Ohio and graduated from Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, Ohio. He played one season of football, three seasons of wrestling, two seasons of track and field, and two seasons of lacrosse. Joe earned two varsity letters in wrestling and two in lacrosse.
