BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Vinny completed his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Vinny completed his first season and lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter.  He was one of only four players to start all 11 games for the 6-5 Yellow Jackets during their inaugural season, and led the team with 21 assists and 39 points, and was third with 18 goals, including three man-up goals.  Vinny also led the attack and was third on the team overall with 42 ground balls and caused four turnovers.  He scored multiple goals in seven games, including two hat tricks, registered multiple assists six times, and recorded at least one goal and one assist in six games.  Vinny tallied career highs of three goals, seven assists and 10 points in a 21-12 win against Houghton (N.Y.) College on March 8 at Pinnacle Soccer Complex in Medina, Ohio.  His seven assists are a school single-game record. Vinny collected a career-high eight ground balls in a 12-7 loss against Thiel (Pa.) College on April 24.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Vinny Carson grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Benedictine High School.  He played four seasons each of hockey and lacrosse.

As a junior in 2010-11, Vinny garnered All-North Coast League honorable mention in hockey.  As a senior in 2011-12, he was named first-team All-NCL and All-Ohio honorable mention.
