MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team, under the direction of fourteenth-year head coach Brian Harrison, was ranked No. 3 in the 2024 D3Baseball.com Preseason Top 25.

BW sits at third with 518 total points following only Johns Hopkins (Md.) University at No. 1 with 17 first-place votes and 612 total points and Salisbury (Md.) University at No. 2 with 525 points and one first-place vote. Also receiving first-place votes were Endicott (Mass.) College with one, the defending national champion University of Lynchburg (Va.) with five, and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with one. The Yellow Jackets are joined by one other Ohio Athletic Conference school in the Top 25 as Marietta College was picked eighth with 436 total points. 

The Yellow Jackets return to the diamond after finishing with a 39-12 record and a 15-3 record in conference play last season. The Yellow Jackets come off a Regional Championship, Super Regional Championship, and a National Semifinals appearance in the program's third trip to the Division III World Series.

BW opens the 2024 campaign on Saturday, February 17 as they host a non-conference game against Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College at 1 p.m. on Fisher Field.
