ACADEMIC MAJOR: Sport Management and Business
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Josh Murphy played his second season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University and received a certificate of participation.
As a freshman in 2013-2014, Josh played his first season of baseball and received a certificate of participation. He saw playing time on the junior varsity squad. BW set a single-seaspn school-record with 30 victories, compile a 30-20 record, finish second at the OAC Tournament, win the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region title and advance to the school's first-ever NCAA Division III College World Series..
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Josh played his second season of baseball and received a certificate of participation. He saw all of his action on the junior varsity (JV) team. BW finished with a school-record 31 victories and a 31-12 record. The Yellow Jackets finished fourth at the OAC Tournament and advanced to their second straight NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Josh is playing his third season of baseball and hopes to earn his first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Josh Murphy grew up in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Toledo Waite High School.
Josh played four years of baseball, two years of soccer and one year of golf.
In baseball, Josh was first-team All-City and first-team All-Northwest District.
Academically, Joshua was a member of the National Honors Society, Indian Leadership, Youth Leadership Toledo, TPS Superintendent's Student Leadership, Red Cross Club, US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete, Gold Fan Citizenship and earned the Youth Jefferson Award and the Michigan Award for sportsmanship.
