BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Melissa Metz played her first season of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. She earned her first varsity letter.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Melissa is a Dean's List student.
GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Melissa played her first season of volleyball and earned her first varsity letter. She appeared in all 30 matches and 114 games and had 118 kills, hit .064, ranked second with 466 defensive digs, 26 services aces, 20 blocks and 11 set assists. BW finished 15-15 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Melissa grew up in Medina Ohio and graduated Our Lady of the Elms High School.
Melissa played four years of volleyball and earned four letters. She also played one season of softball and lettered.
In volleyball, Melissa was the Our Lady of the Elms "Rookie of the Year" as a freshman and was named as the Most Valuable Player as a senior. She earned Division IV first-team All-District honors twice.
In addition to being involved in volleyball and softball, Melissa was an Honor Roll student and received the Academic Excellence Award in English. She also was a Student Ambassador/ Ambassador's Club.
