Kim Gallavan '16 enters her first season as the associate women's track and field coach and throws coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2025.

Gallavan returns to her alma mater after servings as the head track and field coach at Thiel (Pa.) College for the past three years.

While at Thiel, she mentored 80 All-President Athletic Conference honorees, seven PAC Champions, two PAC Athletes of the Week and set 11 school records.

Prior to Thiel, Gallavan was an assistant cross country and track and field coach at Allegheny (Pa.) College for four years, throws coach ay Elite Throws Coaching for two years and throws coach at Capital University for one season.

While at BW, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in sport management and minor in management in coaching. 

Gallavan was a six-time All-American, four time Yellow Jacket Most Outstanding Female Thrower Award recipient, three-time NCAA Division III National Champion, three-time Ohio Athletic Conference Thrower of the Year Award winner, the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Outstanding Performer Award recipient, 2016 NCAA Division III Women’s Field Athlete of the Year Award winner and the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Great Lakes Field Athlete of the Year Award recipient.
