BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Whitney competed in her second season of tennis and earned her second varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW:  As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Whitney became a B-W Jacket Scholar for having above 3.5 gpa.  At the 2011-12 Honors Day Awards Ceremony, she received the Pitcher Psychology Award.


GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION: Whitney has had a solid tennis career thus far. B-W has recorded a 27-22 record during her first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket. She has appeared in  28 singles matches for a record of 6-22. Whitney has also appeared in 30 doubles matches for a record of 9-21.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Whitney competed in her first season of tennis.  She posted a record on 1-2 in singles play during her first year.  In doubles play, Whitney teamed with Bethany Halusker to post a 0-3 record as well as with freshman Morgan Baker to post a record of 2-0.  B-W compiled an overall record of 18-8 and finished second in the OAC during the regular season with a record of 8-1.  The Yellow Jackets also won the OAC Tournament title and qualified for their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last five years.

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Whitney played in her second season of tennis. She compiled a record of 5-20 in singles play. She joined forces with Jenny Greene and emily Brown in the doubles to play earning a 3-13 and 4-5 record.

Whitney received All-County honors in 2007 and 2009. She received honorable mention All-County in 2006 and 2008. Whitney received the scholar athlete award all four years of playing tennis in high school.
