BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Lindsey Cooper had an outstanding three-year soccer career at Baldwin Wallace University after transferring from NCAA Division I High Point (N.C.) University after her freshman year.

She earned three varsity letters and served as a team captain as a junior (2011-2012) and senior (2012-2013). All three years, Lindsey earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors, including being a first-team pick as a senior. She also was twice tabbed NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Division III All-Great Lakes Region and earned All-Ohio honors as a junior and senior, including being a first-team choice as a senior. She also was Academic All-OAC accolades that same season.

Individually, Lindsey played in and started in 59 career matches and missed one due to injury. She helped the Yellow Jackets compile a three-year mark of 30-22-8 record. She took 147 total shots, including 70 on-goal, scored 19 goals and had eight assists for 46 career points. Academically, Lindsey excelled in the classroom and had a 3.3 grade point average.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Lindsey competed at NCAA Division I High Point University in North Carolina. She earned a medical red-shirt as a sophomore in 2009-2010 due to an injury.

As a red-shirt sophomore in 2010-2011, Lindsey played in her first season of soccer at BW and earned her first varsity letter.  She played in 21 games, scored four goals and five assists and  13 points scored. BW qualified for the OAC playoffs with a 7-10-4 overall record. For her efforts, she was named honorable mention All-OAC.

As a red-shirt junior in 2011-2012, Lindsey played her second season of soccer and earned her second letter. She played in 19 games and led the team in goals with six, had two assists and scored 14 points. The Yellow Jackets had an 11-9 record and qualified for the OAC tourney. For her efforts, Lindsey was selected second-team All-OAC, third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region and second-team NCAA All-Ohio. She also earned Academic All-OAC accolades.

As a red-shirt senior in 2012-13, Lindsey competed in her third season of soccer and earned her third letter. She was both a team captain and a starting midfielder. She was named OAC Co-Player of the Week on Sept. 24. Lindsey started all 19 games, led the team in goals with nine, had one assist and scored a team-leading 19 points.  For her efforts, Lindsey was named first-team All-OAC, first-team Al-Ohio and second-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region. The Yellow Jackets had a 12-3-4 record.

HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND:   Lindsey attended New Albany High School. She played four years of soccer and earned four varsity letters. She also played four years of basketball and earned three letters and ran track for one year and earned a letter. Lindsey was second team All-Ohio Capital Conference two years for soccer and one year for basketball.
