"I give credit to all the current and former student-athletes who I've had the opportunity to coach and all of the excellent assistant coaches and support personnel who have made this happen over the years," said Harrer. I also credit the College administration for its support with resources and facilities."

In addition to French for B-W, sophomore forward Catherine Spisak (Sandusky/ St. Mary Central Catholic) totaled eight points and a career-high 13 rebounds. For Kenyon, Morgan Korinek led the Ladies with 11 points and eight boards.

In the first half, B-W jumped out to its largest lead, at 17-10, when sophomore wing Monica Gustin (Bexley)made a three pointer at the 9:44 mark. Kenyon answered with a 7-0 run to tie the score at 17-17 when Andrea Pohly connected on a three pointer with 5:18 left before half. The Ladies then finished the period on a 6-2 run and led B-W 23-19 at the break. The Yellow Jackets were held to only five points in the final 10 minutes of the half while committing six turnovers and shooting 13.3% from the field (2-of-15) during that span.

In the second half, the Yellow Jackets exploded with a 22-2 run ending in back-to-back three pointers by junior guard Ali Stack (Vermillion/ Firelands) and French at the 12:18 and 11:39 marks, respectively. B-W shot 60% from the field (9-of-15) during the run and forced The Ladies to commit five turnovers.

Kenyon then made its final push when Andrea Pohly made back-to-back three pointers to cut the B-W lead to eight at 47-39 with 5:49 left in the game. The Ladies pulled to within six following two free throws by Kat Powers at the 3:02 mark, but B-W held on as French scored four points in the last two minutes of the game  to secure Harrer's 400th win.

"I feel old," noted Harrer. "I've received a number of text messages from former coaches and players wishing me well. I really feel blessed. I've never scored a point or grabbed a rebound for this team. I've done a lot of screaming and yelling. Winning comes through the players' commitment. Every year at our alumni game, our alums wear shirts that read "It takes a little more to be a Yellow Jacket."
